EIT Vestibular Physical Therapy

Anni Sanner, PT, DPT

Anni Sanner, PT, DPT was born and raised in southern California. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2012 and she went on to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, graduating in 2017. After completing several clinical experiences in the cities of Chicago, Albuquerque, and Sacramento, she eventually began her first five years of clinical practice in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She practiced in rural healthcare, providing PT services to a remote region of Northwest Minnesota, but finds that outpatient orthopedics is a comfort zone for her practice. Challenged to improve her skill set with a distinct patient population, she took several continuing education courses in the areas of vestibular rehabilitation to apply towards patients with dizziness that she was seeing rather frequently in her outpatient practice. She took the opportunity at the Ear Institute of Texas with the plan to advance her vestibular rehabilitation skills for the benefit of patients to receive the specialized care they need for their vestibular diagnoses. She is very pleased to be back in warmer climates to enjoy hiking, wine tasting, cooking, and running with her husband Jess and their bernedoodle Reggie.
